In 2023, Nouwens Removals became part of Oomen Movers & Storage, continuing the company’s rich history within a modern and future-oriented moving organization. Thanks to this takeover, customers can be served even better, while maintaining the familiar quality and expertise.

From the very beginning, Nouwens Removals was a true family business. In the early years, a member of the Nouwens family always accompanied the moving van on every move, symbolizing personal commitment and dedication to the customer. Over the decades, the company continued to grow, with Marc Nouwens as the third generation at the helm in recent decades.
Nouwens Removals acquired an excellent reputation in both private and business removals. The company was also at the forefront of innovation: with a fully automated container storage system, Nouwens was already ahead of the competition before the acquisition. This made it possible to serve customers even more efficiently and flexibly.
In 2023, Nouwens Removals joined Oomen Movers & Storage. During the takeover, all approximately 30 employees transferred with the company, thus preserving the accumulated knowledge, experience and customer relationships. The integration within Oomen offers new opportunities in terms of innovation and scale, allowing both private and large business customers to be served even better.
Under the banner of Oomen Movers & Storage, Nouwens Removals is taking important steps in making the moving industry more sustainable. The company is working hard on electrification and implementing environmentally friendly moving solutions, in line with Oomen’s ambitions to make the sector future-proof.
Although Nouwens Removals has merged into Oomen Movers & Storage as an independent company, the company’s core values remain intact. The commitment, expertise and high level of service that Nouwens was known for also remain an essential part of the services within Oomen.
