In a care relocation, a department, location or entire organisation moves while residents, patients and staff are present. Our movers are used to that environment: they work calmly and discreetly and keep to the times and routes the organisation specifies. A project manager sets out the order in a relocation plan, so every department knows when its turn comes.
What Oomen takes care of in a care relocation
We move nursing homes, hospitals and organisations for disability care. Each part gets its own moment in the relocation plan.
Rooms and departments
Furniture and equipment get a move code per room and department. That way everything ends up in the right place in the new building.
Offices and workplaces
Desks, screens and equipment from offices and reception desks. We coordinate disconnecting and reconnecting with your IT department or IT partner.
Archives and files
In order, in numbered archive boxes that we seal on request. Our information security is certified to ISO 27001.
Assembly and mounting
Our handyman assembles furniture and mounts equipment, lighting and other installations. That way a room or department can be used again straight away.

Our electric moving lifts reach the 13th floor and lift 400 kg at a time. The lifts in the building then stay free for residents and staff.

Surplus furniture, equipment or archives go in a container to our climate-controlled storage and come back on request.

From the survey to the moment every department is up and running again.
Survey on location
The project manager walks through both locations department by department and discusses the routes, the lifts and the hours we can work.
Quote and relocation plan
The quote follows the survey. After approval the project manager writes the relocation plan: the order per department, the move codes and who does what.
Packing
Staff pack their own workplace using our crates and labels, or our movers do it. We pack archives separately.
Moving days
Teams led by a foreman move department by department, at the times that disturb care the least. We reassemble furniture straight away.
Handover
Rooms and workplaces are set up according to the floor plan and we collect the crates. On request we clear the old location.
Urgent moves, framework agreement and planning
In healthcare a relocation cannot always wait. For clients with a framework agreement we act within one business day in urgent cases. Without a framework agreement we plan eight weeks ahead, although at short notice there is often still room. Just give us a call.

Movers with a VOG and VCA
In a care organisation our movers work close to residents and patients. We drive 27 electric vehicles and charge them with power from the more than 1,000 solar panels on our buildings in Katwijk and Tilburg. Kiwa audits us every year for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and VCA. Our movers hold a certificate of conduct (VOG) and VCA.
