Temporary storage bridges the time when your belongings have nowhere to go: you have to leave your old home before the new one is ready, or the rooms have to be empty for a renovation. Your belongings then stay in your own container in our climate-controlled storage. You rent per month and decide yourself how much you hand over. Request your price: on business days you get a response within an hour.
When is temporary storage useful?
A move or renovation rarely runs exactly to plan. With temporary storage, not everything has to come together on the same day.
Three ways to store your belongings temporarily
The difference is who loads and who drives. In every case your belongings stay in a container of your own.
Moving with storage
Our movers load your belongings at your home straight into your own container. We seal it in your presence and keep it until your new address is ready. There we carry everything inside.
Fits when you are in the middle of a move and do not want to arrange transport yourself.
Mobile storage
We place a lockable, watertight container at your door and you load it at your own pace. After that we drive it sealed to our storage, or it stays with you for as long as you need it.
Fits when you want to load yourself, but leave the transport to us.
Automated self storage
You rent your own container in our storage in Katwijk and bring your belongings yourself. You book a moment through the app, the crane brings your container to a covered loading bay and you park right beside it.

You request a price
Tell us what needs to be stored and for roughly how long. On business days you get a response within an hour. We advise which size and which way suits your situation.
Your belongings go into the container
At your home or at our loading bay. If our movers load, your account manager surveys your belongings beforehand. If we drive the container to storage, we first seal it in your presence.
Storage per month
The container stays in our climate-controlled facility, where only the computer-operated crane can reach it. If you need something in the meantime, that is possible at a pre-booked moment.
Back on the day you choose
You cancel per month. We deliver the container to the address you choose, or you collect your belongings yourself.
Four container sizes, from a few boxes to the contents of a whole home
Storage is measured in cubic metres: you stack right to the top. If you are hesitating between two sizes, we check with you in the request which size matches what you want to store.
8ft container
A student room, studio or the contents of one room plus seasonal items.
10ft container
Boxes, bicycles, garden furniture and the contents of a few rooms, or a small apartment.
20ft container
The contents of an average home. The most popular size.
20ft high cube
The same floor area as the 20ft, with extra height for cupboards and bulky items.
What does temporary storage cost?
That depends on the size, the duration and who does the work. Your price consists of at most three parts; your quote only lists the lines you actually use.
Monthly rent per container
The rent depends on the size. You pay for at least one month and cancel monthly after that.
Delivery and collection
If we place the container at your address, you pay a fixed amount for delivery and collection together, depending on the distance to the branch. If you bring your belongings yourself, this does not apply.
Only if our movers load
A fixed start rate plus an hourly rate for the truck and the movers. The account manager surveys your belongings; after that the rate is stated in your quote.
Storage is not insured by default. You can optionally take out storage insurance with us, or arrange it through your own home contents policy.
Storing for a few weeks is possible too; you then pay for one month. After that the rent continues per month.
You do not need to know in advance how long you need to bridge. If the completion or the renovation is delayed, the storage simply continues.
Our schedule runs eight weeks ahead, so feel free to request your price early. If you are closer to the date, thanks to our scale there is often still room at short notice.

The container is sealed in your presence with a unique seal number. In our automated, climate-controlled container facility only the computer-operated crane can reach it after that, not even our own staff. The storage is secured to BORG 3, with 4K AI cameras and an alarm, and we are ISO 27001 certified.
During transport by our movers your belongings are insured up to € 125,000 without an excess, in accordance with our terms and conditions and not when you load or help yourself. For the storage period you can optionally take out storage insurance with us, or arrange it through your own home contents policy.
No flammable or explosive substances such as petrol, gas bottles or aerosols, no batteries, no live animals or plants, no perishable food and nothing illegal. If you are unsure about something, mention it in your request.
