Yes. We move within, to and from the Randstad and North Brabant, and abroad as well. Within Europe we drive our own vans and combine trips where the schedule allows. We do not handle moves by sea or air freight.

Yes. Our movers load your belongings straight into a container at your home, and it stays in our climate-controlled, computer-controlled storage until your new home is ready. Nothing needs to be reloaded. You pay per month, with a minimum of one month, then cancel monthly.

In many cases we can start within 24 to 48 hours. With 27 electric vehicles and three branches, there is often still room at short notice. Think of a divorce, a move to a care home or a sudden end to a lease.

No. For urgent moves we charge our normal starting rate plus the hourly rate for the van and the movers. You only pay for the hours we actually work for you.

No. Our specialists pack the piano or grand piano, protect floors and doorways where needed, and use one of our own electric moving lifts if required. You don't need to do anything.

Through the form on the website or by phone. On working days you hear from us within an hour. We then visit for a survey and map everything out. You receive a quote with a schedule and, where needed, a phased plan.

Yes. An experienced project manager writes the moving plan and coordinates the move from start to finish. On moving day, each team works under the lead of a foreman.

Yes. If your organisation can't stop working, we move in phases, in the evening or at the weekend. If that isn't needed, we simply move during the day.

Yes. Our teams dismantle and reassemble workstations, including cable management, monitor arms, screens and network equipment. If you like, we work together with your IT department or IT partner.

Yes, in numbered archive crates, sealed if you wish, so every file ends up in the right place. Our information security is certified to ISO 27001.

Yes. We clear and restore: removing floor coverings, filling holes, disposing of furniture and handing over broom-clean according to the landlord's requirements.

Your belongings go into a container of your own, which is kept in our computer-controlled, climate-controlled storage. There are three ways to load it: yourself, with automated self storage in Katwijk or Tilburg; with mobile storage, where we place the container at your door within about 30 kilometres of a branch; or our movers load it, from one driver who lends a hand to a full team that packs and dismantles. All three are available to private and business customers.

No. The container you load is the same one that stays in storage and is later delivered to you. That saves about half the time and reduces the risk of damage.

Only the computer-controlled crane can reach your container. Nobody else can get to it, not even our own staff. The storage is secured to BORG 3 standard, with 4K AI cameras and an alarm, and our information security is certified to ISO 27001.

We have more than 1,000 containers across Katwijk and Tilburg. Both have an automated, climate-controlled container hall. In Rotterdam we only have storage for small volumes.

Yes. In Katwijk you simply book a time in the app, on working days until 19:00 and at weekends until 17:00. You log in at the loading dock with your own PIN code and the system brings out your container. In Tilburg you come at a pre-booked time during office hours, at a covered loading bay. In Rotterdam, access is by appointment only.

8ft, about 10 m³ (Tilburg only): a studio or a few rooms, around 45 boxes plus furniture. 10ft, about 16 m³: a small flat, around 75 boxes plus furniture. 20ft, about 33 m³: the complete contents of a family home, around 150 boxes plus furniture. 20ft high cube, about 37 m³: the same floor with extra height for tall wardrobes. If you only store boxes, more will fit.

From a few days to years. You pay per month, with a minimum of one month, and after that you can cancel monthly. So you don't need to know in advance how long you'll need the space. The storage is climate-controlled, so it is also suitable for long-term storage.

Yes, if you live within about 30 kilometres of a branch. With mobile storage we place the container at your door or on your own property, and you load it at your own pace. Afterwards we collect it and put it in our storage, or it stays with you for as long as you like. If a space or exemption is needed at your address, we can apply for it on request, as an extra service.

If our movers load it, or you use mobile storage, we seal the container with a unique seal number. If you load it yourself with automated self storage, we aren't there and don't seal it as standard. It can be done on request.

Yes. The same three ways of loading are available to businesses, for example for stock, archives, office furniture or project materials.

When heavy or large furniture has to go up to a floor, or when a stairwell is too narrow. With a moving lift nobody has to haul things up the stairs and the risk of damage is lower. We work with our own electric moving lifts.

Yes. You hire a moving lift with an operator, up to the 13th floor. Useful for a piano, a sofa, a kitchen or solar panels. Installers and furniture shops also hire our lifts.

Yes. The operator is an experienced mover and always helps lift things on and off the lift. If you like, you can book an extra mover.

Up to 400 kg at a time, depending on the type of lift.

Usually a parking space or a strip of about 10 metres is enough. It depends on the type of lift, so let us know the situation in advance. For a back entrance or courtyard we have compact lifts.

Light rain is no problem. In strong wind it isn't safe to use the lift; we then adjust the approach in consultation with you.

A small job, such as a few pieces of furniture, can often be done the same day. If you want to be sure of a particular time, book earlier.

Yes, against drop damage, in line with our general terms and conditions. If you put items on the platform or take them off yourself and damage occurs, it is not covered.

Yes. Our movers pack everything, including fragile items, art and valuables, and at the new address they refill the cupboards the way they were.

Yes. Our fitters dismantle and assemble beds, wardrobes and other furniture. We also put together newly delivered furniture.

Hanging lamps, fixing paintings and curtains, tidying away cables: the small jobs that are left after a move. You can also book the handyman separately.

Yes, including removing belongings and handing over broom-clean, with small repairs where needed. We store treasured items for you. Reusable items go to a second-hand shop where possible.

Yes. We have specialist teams and equipment for fragile or valuable objects such as pianos, grand pianos, paintings and antiques.

Yes. While our movers transport them, your belongings are insured up to € 125,000 with no excess, in line with our general terms and conditions. The cover does not apply if you load items yourself or help out. If you need more cover, your account manager will arrange it with you during the survey.

Yes, if our movers packed the boxes. If you pack yourself, the contents of the boxes are not insured.

The cover up to € 125,000 only applies while our movers transport your belongings, not during storage. For the storage period you can take out separate storage insurance, or arrange it through your own home contents insurance.

On working days you hear from us within an hour to get the quote under way. The quote itself follows the survey, at your home or on a video call, usually on the same day.

We schedule eight weeks ahead. If you're looking into it now, request the quote straight away, even if the date isn't fixed yet: that reserves a period in the schedule. The last week of the month is the busiest. If your date is closer, just ask: with 27 electric vehicles and three branches, there is often still room at short notice.

Most moves take six to nine hours. A flat is done faster than a large detached house, and the better everything is packed and ready, the faster it goes. Your account manager decides the number of movers and the equipment during the survey.

Usually not. If a space or exemption is needed at your address, we can apply for it on request, as an extra service. The same goes for coordinating with your landlord or owners' association. If you know something is going on in the street, such as roadworks, let us know. We then bring road plates if needed or choose a van that suits the route.

Yes. We collect part of your belongings in advance and put them in our climate-controlled storage. Useful when selling, renovating or moving in phases.

Not necessarily. Smaller furniture usually goes as it is. We dismantle large wardrobes, beds and desks on site and put them back together. Mention it during the survey and it will be in the work order.

You can, but you don't have to. With our packing service our movers pack everything. Please note: the contents of boxes are only insured if we packed them.

Use packing paper or bubble wrap, stand plates and glasses upright in the box and write 'fragile' on it. If you want to be sure it goes well, let our movers pack it.

Sturdy, stackable moving boxes. You can order them with tape, bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes from our webshop Verhuisdozen.store. If you still have sturdy moving boxes yourself, you can simply use those. We advise against flimsy boxes: they tear, stack badly and make the day longer.

Pack everything and write the room and the contents on every box. Take lamps, paintings and loose shelves off the wall and empty the cupboards. The better everything is ready, the fewer hours you pay for.

Yes. You get one dedicated account manager, from the survey until after the last box. On moving day an experienced foreman leads the team.

Experienced, tidy people. They are VCA certified and have a VOG, a certificate from the Dutch Justis agency confirming there is no criminal record that stands in the way of this work. They receive ongoing training in lifting technique, safety and handling fragile objects.

ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment, ISO 27001 for information security and VCA for safe working. Kiwa audits us on these every year, in audits lasting several days. The storage is also secured to BORG 3 standard.

We drive 27 electric vehicles. So your move usually goes with an electric van, and we can enter low-emission and zero-emission zones without an exemption. Our buildings are gas-free, with energy label A+++++ and more than 1,000 solar panels on Katwijk and Tilburg. Thanks to our own energy storage, we also charge on solar power at night.
