Mobile storage: flexible, secure and hassle-free
Need extra space during a move, renovation or a transition between homes? With mobile storage, there is no need to rent a van or carry your belongings through long corridors. Oomen brings the storage container directly to you.
You load your belongings once, at your own pace. We then collect the container and store it in our clean, conditioned and highly secured storage facility until you need it again.
How mobile storage works
Mobile storage is arranged in four simple steps:
- Delivery at your address: we place the container on your driveway, parking area or project site, always by prior agreement.
- Load at your own pace: there is no time pressure and no rental van waiting to be returned.
- Collection and secure storage: we collect the loaded container and store it without transferring your belongings.
- Redelivery when you need it: we return the container to your current or new address at the agreed time.
The right container for your belongings
Our mobile storage containers are available in practical sizes for both private and business use:
- 10 ft container (approximately 16 m³): ideal for a small household, archives or the contents of one or two rooms.
- 20 ft container (approximately 33 m³): suitable for an apartment or a larger amount of furniture and equipment.
Not sure which size you need? Our team will help you estimate the required volume, so you do not rent too much or too little space.
Secure, conditioned and sustainable storage
Your belongings remain in the same sealed container and are stored in a clean, dry, conditioned and pest-free facility. Our locations have BORG class 3 security, extensive camera surveillance and ISO 27001 certification.
Oomen combines security with sustainability. We use an electric fleet, generate our own solar power and operate gas-free, energy-efficient storage locations.
Access during storage
Need something from your container while it is in storage? Request access from your phone and we will make the container available at one of our loading docks. This gives you flexibility without keeping a container outside your home.
Mobile storage for private and business customers
Mobile storage is suitable for household contents during a move or renovation, but also for business inventory, archives, project equipment and temporary stock. In urgent situations, delivery can often be arranged within 24 hours, subject to availability and site access.
