Rent storage space in Diemen

In the blue zone you may park for up to two hours from Monday to Saturday between 9.00 and 21.00, and for one hour near the shops on Arent Krijtstraat. Loading usually takes longer. That is why we find out in advance what your street needs for the truck to stay until your container is full and sealed.

They go into your own container at your old address and stay sealed in our warehouse in Katwijk until you have the key. Holland Park is still very much under construction, so we check the route to your new front door beforehand. Residents park indoors there, so we agree the loading spot and the lift with the building manager in advance. What has been agreed is in your work order.

Sometimes. Diemen is around the limit of about 30 kilometres within which we place a container at your door as standard, so it depends on your address. On your driveway or on your own property it is then usually no problem. In Diemen a container can stand in a parking bay with a notification if it stays no longer than three consecutive working days and is no larger than 10 m². That notification has to be made at least seven working days in advance. In other cases you need an exemption from the municipality, to be applied for at least eight weeks in advance. On request we arrange that for you, as an extra service. Our 33 and 37 m³ containers are larger than 10 m²; only the 16 m³ stays below that. Tell us in your request where you want it and we will check whether it fits there. If it does not work out, our movers load and the container goes from the truck to the warehouse sealed.

For a small apartment, for example in a residential tower in Holland Park, 16 m³ is usually enough. The complete contents of a terraced house in Diemen-Zuid or a family home in Diemen-Noord fit in 33 m³, the size chosen most often. If you have tall wardrobes or other bulky items, take 37 m³: the same floor area, but 30 centimetres taller.

Yes. Your container is kept in our warehouse on Taanderstraat in Katwijk. You book a moment in the app and the computer-operated crane puts it ready at the covered loading dock. That is possible until 19:00 on working days and until 17:00 at weekends. You park right next to it, so there are no corridors to walk through.

One month. After that you extend per month and can cancel monthly.

Not automatically. The cover of up to € 125,000 with no excess applies during transport by our movers, not during storage. For the storage period you can take out separate storage insurance with us if you wish, or insure the contents through your own home contents insurance.

Our planning runs about 8 weeks ahead. If your date is not fixed yet, request your price now anyway: that way we already reserve a period for you. If your date is closer, with a thousand of our own containers in Katwijk and Tilburg there is often still room at short notice.
