Summary: Oomen Group recently won three major European tenders: the City of Amsterdam (estate management services, framework agreement worth up to €2 million), Avans University of Applied Sciences (relocation services for all locations, term of up to six years), and Curio (relocation services in West Brabant). All three contracts will be carried out 100% electrically thanks to our fleet of more than 25 electric vehicles, including 12 trucks.

We are proud to have won three major European tenders in recent months. The City of Amsterdam, Avans University of Applied Sciences, and Curio have chosen Oomen Verhuizers en Opslag as their moving partner for the coming years, under the banner of Oomen Verhuizers (Katwijk) and its sister branch Nouwens Verhuizingen (Tilburg), both part of the Oomen Group.

City of Amsterdam: New Client for Oomen Verhuizers
The City of Amsterdam has entrusted us with estate management services in connection with home clearances. This is a framework agreement with an initial term of two years and an option to extend it twice, for one year each time. The total contract value is estimated at €2 million.

This is a new client for us, and one we’re incredibly excited about. It’s special to be able to work for the capital on a service that has direct social significance for the city and its residents.

Avans University of Applied Sciences: Continuing a Great Partnership
Avans University of Applied Sciences, with campuses in Breda, Den Bosch, Tilburg, and Roosendaal, has once again chosen Oomen Group. This framework agreement has a maximum term of six years (two years plus two two-year extensions). Early in the contract, our services will include handling the relocations associated with the opening of the new Avans building at Onderwijsboulevard 300 in Den Bosch. The entire team is proud to continue supporting Avans in this way.

Curio: Partner Once Again in West Brabant
Curio, the leading vocational training provider in West Brabant with approximately 22,000 students, has once again entrusted us with its relocation services. Our bid was evaluated as the most economically advantageous based on value for money. We’re delighted to be able to continue and expand our partnership with Curio.

100% electric, even for large and concurrent projects
We carry out all three of these projects entirely with electric vehicles. That’s not a promise for the future, it’s how we work today. Our fleet consists of more than 25 electric vehicles, including 12 electric trucks. Of these, 8 are heavy-duty vehicles in the 19- to 27-metric-ton category.

We need that capacity. Because whether it’s setting up the new Avans building, a major internal relocation at Curio, or a clearance job for the City of Amsterdam, even on large projects, and even when we’re working for multiple clients at the same time, we can operate completely emission-free.

Not the first, not the last
These are the most recent European tenders we’ve been fortunate enough to win, but there are more in our portfolio. We’re seeing more and more that clients, especially in education and government, are opting for a combination of quality, sustainability, and a fair price. That’s exactly what we, as a family-owned business, are fully committed to, and the fact that we win these projects based on that combination of three factors proves that it works.

We would like to thank our new and existing clients for their trust, and we look forward to the collaborations that lie ahead in the coming years.
