Bollards from 12:00 to 18:00

Since 1 July 2024 the centre has been a pedestrian zone, including the Dorpsringweg and parts of the Dorpsstraat, Zeestraat and Havenstraat. In the afternoon the bollards are up, so we load and unload there in the morning.

Market and blue zones

On market day there are stalls in the pedestrian zone. Parts of the Zeestraat and Havenstraat and the supermarket car park on the Pilarenlaan are blue zones, where you may only park briefly. That is too short for a move, so we arrange another spot in advance.

Flower parade week in April

On the Friday of the illuminated Bloemencorso flower parade the centre is closed to cars all day, as is part of the Herenweg, and parking bans apply along the route from the evening before. In April we plan with the parade programme to hand.

Building traffic on the estates

The last phase of In den Houte is under construction and a few plots at Landgoed Sancta Maria are still open. There is building traffic, In den Houte has speed humps and roads are sometimes closed. Just before moving day we check the route.

Yes, De Zilk and the countryside among the bulb fields are simply part of our area, and from Katwijk we get there via the N206. If you move from De Zilk to Haarlem, our electric vehicles may enter the zero-emission zone that has applied there since 1 June 2025 without an exemption.
