In Alkmaar's city centre the work is mainly about access: a large part of the centre is closed to traffic, the lanes along the canals are narrow, and on Friday mornings in the season the Waagplein is taken up by the cheese market.

From late March to late September there is a cheese market on the Waagplein on Fridays from 10.00 to 13.00. If you live nearby, we move on another day or well outside those hours.

Huiswaard has, among other things, seven-storey gallery flats. You book the lift with the landlord or owners' association, and we put that in the work order. If a wardrobe will not fit in the lift, we bring our moving lift; it goes up to the 13th floor.
