Frans Oomen
Let me introduce myself!
Hi, I'm Frans! Born on 30 October 1961 and living in Hilversum. For 10 years I have been a happy member of the Oomen Verhuizers team.

My role at Oomen?
Everything in order behind the scenes!
As CFO I look after HR, finance, risk and quality. That means I make sure everything runs smoothly, financially and organisationally, so that our movers and our customers have nothing to worry about.
Before Oomen and now
From music to management.
My career path is anything but standard. I started out as a musician, then became a manager at McDonald's in Leiden. After that I moved into the world of tax, where I worked as an inspector, an adviser and eventually a partner at PwC. Alongside tax matters I was also involved in people management and coaching there, something I still value highly. For the past 10 years I have been putting that experience to work at Oomen Verhuizers, where I contribute to our team's success with great enthusiasm.
Background & knowledge
You never stop learning.
I completed pre-university education (VWO) and went on to study at university. I have also attended several business schools and earned many certificates and training qualifications. But honestly? The most valuable knowledge comes from practice: building strong teams and guiding people is something you learn by doing.
Why I still enjoy going to work every day?
Helping people grow!
The best part of my job? Discovering and developing talent within our team. Nothing is as rewarding as seeing colleagues fulfil their potential and exceed their own expectations. That makes every working day worthwhile.
