How we guard your belongings in our Rotterdam warehouse

You get your own container, which is sealed in your presence and then sits in one of our own warehouses. The system knows exactly where each container is.

Sealed in your presence

Every container gets a seal with a unique number. Broken seal = visible. No one gets in in the meantime, not even us.

Can my business in Rotterdam store stock or archives with you?+

Yes. Our warehouse on Bovendijk holds a lot of business storage: stock, project materials and archives. You rent per container, so you scale up or down when you need more or less space. For multiple containers you get one proposal for the whole lot, and you have one fixed account manager.

I am moving within Rotterdam and my new home is not ready yet. What then?+

Then your belongings go into storage in between. We load everything at your old address into your own container and seal it in your presence. Because our warehouse is in the city, the trip is short. When your new home is ready, we bring the container there, without anything being transloaded on the way.

Can I get to my belongings in between?+

Yes, by appointment during office hours. Your container is kept in our warehouse on Bovendijk in Rotterdam and is moved by machine. Let us know at least one working day in advance and it will be ready. If you need something from it every week, mention it in your request and we will see what works.

Where can the container stand?+

On your driveway or your own property it is usually no problem. If it has to stand on the street, the municipality often asks for a permit or notification. Tell us in your request where you want it and we will check whether it fits. If there is no room, our movers load and the container goes from the truck to the warehouse, sealed.

What is the minimum rental period?+

One month. After that you extend per month and can cancel monthly.

Are my belongings insured during storage?+

Not automatically. The cover of up to € 125,000 with no excess applies during transport by our movers, not during storage. For the storage period you can take out separate storage insurance with us if you wish, or insure the contents through your own home contents insurance.

What size container do I need?+

10 m³ suits a studio or a few rooms, 16 m³ a small apartment, 33 m³ the complete contents of a family home and 37 m³ the same contents with tall or bulky items. 33 m³ is the most chosen size.

How far in advance should I arrange this?+

Our planning runs about 8 weeks ahead. If your date is not fixed yet, request your price now anyway: that way we already reserve a period for you. If your date is closer, with a thousand of our own containers spread over three branches there is often still room at short notice.
